Our cleaning procedures involve more than just cleaning gutters. All debris on the roof as well the valleys are thoroughly cleaned and a thorough inspection of your roof is made to locate any existing damages and repairs that may be required. Broken tiles, loose roof screws, rusted valleys, dislodged flashing or deteriorated roof cement on the ridge capping can result in a water build up in your ceiling causing extensive and costly repairs. A roof condition report will be provided outlining any of these items as necessary along with a quote to carry out these repairs. Once the roof, valleys and gutters are cleaned, the downpipes are unblocked to ensure they are working properly. No mess will be left on your premises - we make sure your property is all cleaned up before we go! In fact we leave your property cleaner than when we first arrived!
Gutter Guard
We do supply and install gutter guard. It is important to note, however, that this option is not 100% maintenance free. In short, gutter guard simply delays the inevitable by reducing the frequency of the clean. Instead of the leaves falling in the gutter, they simply get caught in the holes along with tiny seeds and build up on top of the mesh. The leaves gradually decompose and breakdown over time and eventually filter through the tiny holes ending up in the gutter. If neglected, you will end up with clogged gutters once again, requiring the whole system to be removed, cleaned and refitted. So if you choose to install gutter guard, cleaning the roof and above the mesh once a year is still advised to prevent the worst from happening. However we can discuss your needs and requirements once on site and advise accordingly.
